The printing of a packaging is an essential component of the brand recognition and perception, which can influence the sale.

The printing process starts with the inventorying of your wishes and the printing requirements. We will also take your marketing goals into account. If you already have a design we can use this or create the desired image together with you. For this it is important that the design is innovative, attractive, profitable and functional, during the whole logistics process.

As soon as the design has been approved, the printing process can begin and the most suitable printing technique can be chosen. A printed sample in a realistic version is one of the possibilities.

Flexo printing

Also called “relief printing” or “direct printing” because it is directly printed onto corrugated cardboard. This technique offers the possibility to print four or five colours with a flexible printing mat, Cliché. Flexo-printing has three techniques, namely, flexo inline, flexo post and flexo pre-print.

ADVANTAGES

  • Favourable costs with recurring assignments
  • The cliché has a long technical lifespan
  • Enough ink transferred onto the cardboard because there is a lot of ink on the cliché
  • Fine printing quality of metallic colours and effect pigments because there is enough ink transferred from the cliché onto the cardboard
  • Excellent features when processing with UV varnish
  • Usable with small production amounts

Offset printing

Offset printing technique, also called flat printing, offers the possibility to print fullcolour with the help of an aluminium offset printing plate. These printing plates have fixed sizes and are used to realize various colouring techniques and lacquer effects.

ADVANTAGES

  • Very beautiful result, like on a picture or poster. Ideal for consumer packaging
  • Special effects possible with glitter lacquer, clear lacquer, relief lacquer, etc
  • A printed monster is often possible with "digital print"
  • Relatively low additional costs, printing plates can be reused and this makes it much chepaer than cliché’s
  • Broad application, both smooth and rough surfaces
  • Usable with small production amounts
